Jocelyn Gould

Jocelyn Gould is an accomplished guitarist, vocalist and educator. After moving away from her hometown of Winnipeg, Canada, she obtained a Master of Music in Jazz Studies from Michigan State University where she studied with Randy Napoleon and Rodney Whitaker. From her adopted hometown of New York City, Jocelyn developed a profile that has taken her to international festivals—such as the St. Lucia, Detroit, and Toronto Jazz Festivals—and renowned jazz clubs. Jocelyn has recorded with Michael Dease, Diego Rivera and Randy Napoleon for their upcoming records, and her debut album as a leader will be released in early 2020. She has performed in the groups of Grammy nominated vocalist/pianist Freddy Cole, trumpeter Etienne Charles and trombonist Michael Dease, to name a few. Jocelyn has taken over the guitar head department at the Humber College in Toronto. Jocelyn will be accompanied by Thomas Hainbuch on bass and Felix Fox on Keyboard.
